Some Lesser Known Facts About Alaa Mezher
- Alaa is a Lebanese citizen who was born in the United Arab Emirates and also holds permanent residency in UAE.
- Alaa began his football career with the Emirati clubs Al Shaab and Sharjah, before joining the Juventus Academy in 2009. He returned to Lebanon in 2012.

- Alaa joined the Lebanese Premier League’s side Chabab Ghazieh for the 2012-13 season.
- Alaa joined the Salam Zgharta in the 2015–16 season and after the season got over, he moved to Safa Sporting Club ahead of the 2016-17 season.
- Alaa joined Thai League 4 side BTU United on a one-year contract in January 2017. After his contract ended, he moved back to Lebanon.
- In 2018, Alaa joined Dibba Al Fujairah in the UAE Pro League. After spending the first half of the season with them, he then joined Hatta Club in the UAE Division One for the remaining 2018-19 season.
- Ahead of the 2020-21 season, Alaa joined Al Hamriya club. Later, with mutual consent, Alaa’s contract was terminated by the club on 19 January 2021.

- Alaa returned to Lebanon for the second time after he joined Nejmeh Sporting Club on 7 August 2021 ahead of the 2021–22 season. He left the club in June 2022 after his contract ended with the club. He won the Lebanese FA Cup and the Lebanese Elite Cup with the club.
