- Andrea was eight years old when he relocated to Dubai from Malta with his family.
- After spending eight years at the IJF Academy in Dubai, Andrea signed his first professional contract after he joined English Football League One side Peterborough United on 10 April 2016 on a trainee scholarship.
- Andrea is the third UAE-based player to sign for an English club after German goalkeeper Fabian Speiss and South African defender Kieran Geldenbuys.
- After four days of joining Peterborough, Andrea made his debut on 14th April against Fleetwood Town at the ABAX Stadium, featuring for 82 minutes before being replaced by Paul Taylor.
- On 27 January 2018, Andrea debuted in the FA Cup against Leicester City. He came as a substitute in the second half of the match.
- Andrea joined Kettering Town, a Southern League Premier side on loan transfer in August 2018. He made 18 appearences for the club before being recalled from the loan in November.
