  • He started playing football at Nantucket High School in the United States.
  • In 2007,  at the age of 16, he joined Volta Redonda and played until 2009.
  • In 2008, he played with São Paulo FC on loan.
  • On 15 February 2009, he made his senior debut for Volta Redonda against Mesquita.
  • Thereafter, he scored his first goal for the team in the 35th minute against Duque de Caxias.
