  • His father, Mohamed Rahimi, who is popularly known as Youaari, served as the main kit man of Raja Club Athletic for over 40 years.
  • Houssine was inclined towards Football from a young age and grew up idolising Cristiano Ronaldo.
  • Following his elder brother Soufiane Rahimi’s footsteps, Houssine joined the Raja Club Athletic’s (Raja Casablanca) academy at a young age.

  • In December 2022, Rahimi received his first call-up to the Morocco A’ team for a friendly match against Senegal, aimed at preparations for the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria. However, Morocco withdrew from the tournament due to political tensions with Algerian authorities, which prevented the team from travelling directly from Rabat to Constantine.

  • Rahimi was a part of the Morocco U23 team that secured a historic bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, defeating Egypt 6–0 in the third-place match. His performance in the tournament was exceptional, scoring multiple goals, including a record-breaking streak of goals in consecutive Olympic matches. Rahimi played a key role in Morocco’s first-ever Olympic medal in a team sport.
  • Houssine returned to Raja Casablanca and helped the team win the Moroccan Cup in the 2023–24 season.
