| Controversies | • Defamation case In 2014, Dima Bayaa accused Nesreen Tafesh of cheating with her husband actor Taim Hassan. In response, Nesreen filed a lawsuit against Dima Bayaa in the court of Dubai for tarnishing her image. She later won the case and the Court put a fine of $1,300 on Dima for defaming Nesreen. - Nesreen’s father hails from Safed, Israel and her mother hails from Algeria. Her maternal grandmother is of Moroccan descent.
- Nesreen shifted to Damascus in 1999, where she studied at the High Institute for Theatrical Arts in Damascus.
- Nesreen likes to travel and explore places around the world.
- Nesreen was studying at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts when she bagged the biography series Hulagu (2002).
