After the release of her fourth music album in 2006, she faced huge criticism. In the song "Bayaa El Ward," she was seen wearing a T-shirt with a print promoting homosexuality. Later, she accused another singer Nawal Al Zoghbi for stealing her contract with the Kuwaiti optical company Fashion Look. She said that Nawal agreed to do the commercial on lesser fees than her.
