  • Ihab Darwish has been playing and composing music as a hobby since the age of ten.
  • After completing college in Beirut, he returned to Abu Dhabi and started his career as the creative director of Mediaway Advertising and Publishing company from 1998 to 2003.
  • From 2003 to 2010, he owned the Insignia Advertising and Publishing company in Abu Dhabi.
  • Since 2010, he has been in charge of the Communication and Branding section of the Human Resource Authority, Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council (ADTC).
  • He built a home recording studio with state-of-the-art technology and musical instruments, and continued his experiments in music.
  • In 2017, he performed his music (recorded at the Alvernia Studios, Poland) for the first time at the Beethoven Academy Orchestra in Poland.

  • In 2018, his debut performance was Waves of My Life: Every Real Story Begins with a Note at the Abu Dhabi Festival, an art and classical music festival by Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF).

  • In 2019, he founded the Artwish Music and Events company.
  • In 2020, he composed the official musical theme for The Palm Fountain (the world’s largest fountain, holding the Guinness World Record) on the occasion of the 49th National Day celebration of the UAE.
  • In 2021, he collaborated with musicians John Debney and David Shire for another milestone in his musical career, Symphony for Three: Peace, Love and Tolerance, inspired by the Abrahamic Family House (an inter-faith complex in Abu Dhabi).

  • In 2022, he became a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Inc., also known as The Recording Academy (famous for its Grammy Awards).
  • He founded a non-profit organisation, the Emirati Musicians’ Association, to support and promote music producers, composers, singers, technicians, and educators.
  • He specialises in the classical music genre.
