- He once met the Egyptian film director Youssef Shahin, who introduced Khaled to Egyptian cinema. Khaled then participated in a short narrative Egyptian documentary film ‘Al Kahira Monwara Beahliha.’ Gradually, he started developing an interest in directing film and started his training under Youssef Shahin.
