In 2015, in an interview on ‘ON TV,’ he said that the reason why Egyptian films failed to do well at the Cannes Film Festival was because of Jewish people. He said that Jews people pretend to join Islam and then leave it to weaken faith of Muslim people. He also said that at Cannes, Jewish people buys all tickets of films and then leave the film midway, to give negative feedback of the film.

Detained For Possession of Drugs
