- May Elghety was born into a family with an entertainment background. Since childhood, she was inclined towards acting and desired to become an actor.
- She began pursuing her professional acting career at a very young age by making appearances on many different television shows such as ‘Al Shabaka Al Mashoura’ (The Magical Net) (2003), ‘Awasef Al Nesaa’ (Women’s Storms) (2005), and ‘Bent Men El Zaman Da’ (A Girl from this Time) (2008).
- In 2008, May was cast in the Arabic comedy film titled ‘Kabten Hima,’ in which she played the character of Nour.
- From 2010 to 2013, May Elghety, being a child actress, hosted many children’s TV programs on the national Egyptian channel ‘Al Fadayaa Al Masrya.’
