- Nadir was born and raised in a Muslim family in London. His family’s roots are connected with Yemen, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Kenya.
- Nadir’s parents migrated to England from Kenya. His dad is a Yemeni, Indonesian Kenyan and his mom is Pakistani. His paternal grandmother was from Indonesia and his maternal grandmother was a Pakistani.
- Nadir used to work at the UN in humanitarian development work before he became famous on social media.
- Nadir made his first YouTube video in 2014, titled “Happy British Muslims,” a parody of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy.” The video became an accidental hit and garnered 2.4 million views.
