- Reem Abdullah grew up in a Middle-class Muslim family in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She comes from a traditional background.
- She began her acting career in 2007 by appearing in the Saudi comedy series Tash Ma Tash. Starring comedians Nasser Al Qasabi and Abdullah Al-Sadhan in lead roles, Tash Ma Tash gained popularity for its liberal slant and criticism of the extreme and intolerant ideologies within the society.
- In the same year, she played a small role in the comedy drama Amsha Bint Amash.
