- Abla shared in an interview that it was a coincidence which led her into the world of the arts while she was a student in the Faculty of Arts.
- Abla started her career in Theatre Vanguard after graduating from the Faculty of Arts Department of Libraries in 1986. Her first theatrical work was Noubat Sahyan.
- Abla’s career got an initial boost from the play ‘Point of View’ in which she played the role of Saniya. She continued to play the role for five years.
- Abla is known for her work in the films and TV shows, including Hysteria (1996), The Stolen Joy (1994), Boltya EL Ayma (2008), Ellembi (2002) and many more.
- In the film Hysteria, Abla played the role of “Wedad” who fell in love with “Zein”, the travelling musician and singer. It was during this film that she first met Ahmed Zaki.
