- When he was born, his parents were expecting twin brothers, and they had planned to name them Aly and Amr. Instead, his mother gave birth to his twin sister, Ola.
- He began his professional journey as an engineer before switching his career to acting.
- While studying in the final year at Cairo University, Egypt, he joined an acting workshop with acting coach Ahmed Kamal and immediately got interested in acting
- During an interview, he revealed that even though he liked acting, the fear of rejection kept him from taking acting as a career and said,
I loved it, but that was it. It became my hobby. I was afraid of ruining my hobby, and I was afraid to actually try and fail.”
