Some Lesser Known Facts About Maz Hakim
- Maz’s family background is from Afghanistan. Her parents fled to Pakistan during the Russian invasion with her three elder siblings. Maz was born in Pakistan in a refugee camp and from there, they finally shifted to Australia where Maz grew up.
- Maz has interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world, moderated panels in the Middle East and abroad, hosted the TEDx talk on refugees, as well as TV shows in Afghanistan.
- Maz shifted to Dubai from Australia in 2014 when an opportunity arrived for her to host her own show on Virgin Radio Dubai.
