| Controversies | • Accused of Marrying Before Ending Previous Engagement In October 2008, cosmetic expert Alaa El-Tounsi filed a lawsuit against Riham Said for marrying a surgeon, who had performed a cosmetic cosmetic surgery on her, while still being engaged to him. Riham denied the claim, stating she had ended the engagement before her marriage and chose not to inform her ex-fiancé of her marriage due to a fear of his temperamental nature, and said, "I ended my engagement before getting married, but he kept in touch with me. - Initially, she wanted to pursue a career in acting, but after her parents refused, she turned to a career as a television presenter.
- She has been married several times. Her first marriage occurred when she was 19 years old and ended in divorce at the age of 22. In an interview, she talked about getting divorced after facing several restrictions from her husband, and said,
During this period, I was suffocated and wanted to leave the house, because I was forbidden to go out, forbidden to talk on the phone, forbidden to wear, and forbidden to do everything.”
