- Tara Emad was born to an Egyptian father and a Yugoslav Montenegrin mother in Cairo, Egypt.
- Since childhood, Tara was fascinated with fashion magazines and shows and told her mother that she desired to become a model.
- When she was just eight years old, her mother took her to a modelling agency by Youssef Spahi in Cairo, Egypt.
- She then did a few TV commercials, and at the age of 14, she bagged her first photo shoot for a Lebanese magazine called Layalina.
- At the same time, she began working as a clothing model and received an offer to walk the ramp at a fashion show.
