- Vladimir Ivić grew up in Zrenjanin, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia.
- Vladimir began his career as a Footballer, playing for the club Proleter Zrenjanin. He was associated with the club till 1998.
- He made his senior debut for Proleter in the 1994–95 season.
- Vladimir then got associated with the club Partizan. He was one of the best players of the championship team.
