- After his parents got divorced, Styles, along with his younger brother, stayed with their mother and moved to Yonkers. There, he met his friends Jadakiss and Sheek Louch. While spending time together, they realised that they all three had a passion for hip hop music. They then formed a band named The Lox in 1994.
