| Controversies | • Legal case filed by Zeina Reda against actor and ex-husband actor Ahmed Ezz Zeina Reda filed a case against actor Ahmed Ezz in 2014 to legally acknowledge the fatherhood of her twin sons born in 2013. Her claims of a customary marriage and paternity were denied by Ahmed Ezz and moreover, he repeatedly refused to go ahead with the DNA test mandated by the court. Finally in 2015, the court gave the verdict in favour of Zeina Reda, acknowledging Ahmed Ezz as the children's biological father. The court also levied a fine of EGP 15,000 and in absentia, three years of prison. • Legal case against Zeina Reda on behavioural misconduct In 2008, a policeman and a soldier filed a complaint against Zeina Reda accusing her of verbal assault when she violated traffic rules.
